Peace was named CIAA co-offensive player of the week after hitting .778 on 7-for-9 batting in two games last week. He drove in two runs and hit two doubles. Peace was 4-for-5 with two RBIs, two runs scored and a double against Elizabeth City State on March 17, and he was 3-for-4 with one double and one run scored against Lenoir-Rhyne on March 20. He also had eight putouts and one assist at the catcher position. Peace leads the CIAA with a .456 batting average.
Baytop was named CIAA defensive player of the week after recording eight putouts with no errors at left field in two games last week. He had four putouts against Elizabeth City State on March 17 and four putouts against Lenoir-Rhyne on March 20. He also batted .333 with an RBI.
Whitaker was selected CIAA coach of the week. He guided the Falcons to a 16-7 win over Elizabeth City State on March 17 to remain unbeaten in the CIAA at 9-0. The Falcons, who lead the league standings, are 21-9 overall. They were ranked 10
th in the Atlantic Region last week.
