Relay Teams Run Top NCAA Division II Times at Florida Relays

Final Results

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Saint Augustine's University ran the top NCAA Division II times in the men's and women's 4x400-meter relays and the men's 4x100-meter relay on the final day of the Florida Relays at Percy Beard Track on Saturday, April 2, 2016.

The men's 4x400 squad of Shawn Rowe (Jr./West Palm Beach, Fla.), Burkheart Ellis, Jr. (Sr./Raleigh, NC), Khari Herbert, Jr. (Coral Springs, FL) and Shaquille Dill (Fr./Pembroke, Bermuda) placed second in an automatic qualifying time of 3.07.22. The foursome is ranked No. 1 in the event in the NCAA Division II rankings.

The women's 4x400 quartet of Ade Hunter (So./Philadelphia, PA), Ornella Livingston (Sr./St. Ann, Jamaica), Leah Barker (So./St. Michaels, Barbados) and Tia-Adana Belle (Jr./St. George, Barbados) finished third in an automatic qualifying time of 3:39.32. They are the top-ranked group in the NCAA Division II rankings.

The men's 4x100 group of Brent Arceneaux (Sr./Snellville, GA), Ellis, Kendall Kee (Sr./Shelby, NC) and Daniel Jamieson (Sr./Windsor, CT) was first among college teams and sixth overall in an automatic qualifying time of 39.52. The squad is ranked No. 1 in the event in the NCAA Division II rankings.

Triple jumpers David Shaw (Sr./St. Pauls, NC) and Jumonne Exeter (So./St. Vincent) also leaped season bests. Shaw placed ninth in 51-0 and Exeter was 13^th in 49-7.
