Coach Williams Featured On WRAL-TV5 News and The Sports Shop Radio Talk Show For Second Time This Summer

RALEIGH, N.C. - Athletic Director and Track and Field Head Coach George Williams of Saint Augustine's University has been in high demand for media interviews in the months leading up to the Rio Olympics, which will be held Aug. 5-21, 2016. His latest interviews were last week on WRAL-TV5 News and The Sports Shop Radio Talk Show.

 

This was the second time this summer he was interviewed by both media organizations. The interviews were about his experiences in previous Olympics and the four runners he is sending to Rio. Below are the interview links.

Coach Williams has guided the Saint Augustine's University track and field program to 38 NCAA Division II national titles in 40 years as head coach. He has won the most NCAA track and field championships of any collegiate coach. The legendary Williams was the 2004 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Head Coach.
