Tailback Roderick Davenport (Redshirt Jr./Orangeburg, SC) of Saint Augustine's University received another postseason award for his outstanding football season.Â
Davenport was named to the Don Hansen Football Gazette Division II All-Super Region 1 Third Team on Friday, January 16, 2015. The standout running back led the CIAA in rushing yards (1,133) and rushing yards per game (113.3) in 2014.
This marks the third postseason honor for Davenport. In 2014, he was named to the All-CIAA First Team and the Beyond Sports Network All-Region Third Team. Davenport is the second Falcons' back to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season in the modern era.
